What a thrill this was. I had been writing podcasting articles for NMX (Blogworld.com) and in 2012 I received an email from one of their representatives asking me if I’d consider writing a full-blown podcaster guide. I was absolutely interested because this would be a proper publishing opportunity: I would get paid directly for the work rather than solely receive a cut of individual sales (a good thing, since the book would be free to download). There’s security in knowing that you’ll get paid when you turn in the final manuscript, and the writing and editing went very, very well.
