I still think it was a great idea, and I’m still… okay, sort-of happy with the way the book turned out, but for a variety of reasons I did not give it a chance to catch on. It soured me on the idea of self-publishing, that act of releasing a book and crossing your fingers that you’ll get paid for your work. After just a couple of months with no sales, I pulled the plug on both it and the website that I had built to support it.
